tapwork. develops new in-house app for iPhone and iPod. With myGigs you can find concerts and venues in your city or other international cities of your choice. You can save events as favorite and share them with friends per mail. The maps function shows you the way to the event and with the youtube function you can listen and check out bands.

tapwork. develops DLR iPad App
tapwork. is presenting an update for the German Aerospace iOS App, which is now compatible with the iPad.
The iPad version contains news, videos, images, twitter updates like the existing iPhone & iPod Touch App.
Additionally we added the digital version of the German Aerospace magazine. The iPad version makes use of touchscreen gestures which allows the user to browse the content quickly and easily.
There is also an mobile app for Google Android in the development process. This version will be released soon.

tapwork. attending the WWDC2011 in San Francisco
tapwork. is attending the Apple WWDC like last year. This time the main topics are already well-known: Mac OSX "Lion", iOS5 and the iCloud. Something new with the "i" in front. The Apple geeks are almost familiar with "Lion". But iOS5 is still accompanied by rumours. I will stand in line tomorrow at 7:00h for Steve's Keynote which will beginn at 10:00h.

Apple rewards the top Apps of the past year. In 2010 newsLokal iPad Version is one of the best selling iPad Apps in the German "News" category. newsLokal iPad Version For us this is a nice result, though there are lots of Apps in the App Store right now.
The tapwork. team will present a couple new things in the year 2011.

Wired Magazine introduces App for iPad
The Wired Magazine recently introduced a dummy app which shows the possibilities with the new iPad. Will there new chances for magazines and newspapers to sell spaces for advertisings? A bunch of new stuff is possible. Imagine you discover the ad in 3D or in interaction. This is a new experience for all readers and a good chance for newspapers. Besides that the interaction will be close to the standard magazine or newspaper feeling.
